Meltech has successfully entered into another 8(a) Joint Venture Mentor-Protégé relationship to form ACT/MELTECH, JV-1, LLC. Meltech has entered into a formal SBA approved Mentor Protégé and SBA approved 8a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) joint venture (ACTS-MELTECH, JV-1, LLC).

DoD’s Mentor-Protégé Program is the oldest continuously operating federal mentor-protégé program in existence. Originally established in the midst of the First Gulf War, the Mentor-Protégé Program helps eligible small businesses expand their footprint in the defense industrial base. A successful mentor-protégé program helps to provide a winning relationship for the protégé, the mentor and the DoD.
